Decathletes competing in the 2009 Solar Decathlon should bookmark this page and check back often.

2009 Dates

  • Oct. 1—Teams arrive at the National Mall and begin assembly of their houses
  • Oct. 8-16—Teams compete in 10 contests
  • Oct. 9-18—Houses are open to the public
  • Oct. 19-21—Teams disassemble their houses

Graphics

Decathletes will need sponsor logos and other event graphics — and this is where you'll find them. You'll also find guidance for using graphics in various media.

2009 Request for Proposal

The next Solar Decathlon will be held in October 2009 in Washington, D.C. Once again, teams from colleges and universities from around the world will gather to compete. The request for proposals (RFP) for the 2009 competition, posted below, might be helpful for those interested in participating in future Solar Decathlons.
